I instantly swooned when I saw that typewriter, and then my jaw dropped when I saw everything else that's included in this card kit. The January '25 kit is PACKED with goodies that will get you ready for Valentine's Day.
My typewriter on my card is stamped with 4 ink colors: Arctic, Mist, Peony, and Soft Blossom. I love the endless combinations that can be used just for the typewriter alone. There is also a matching die that adds more texture to the machine, which really emphasizes all the details.
I used the other clear stamp set provided in the kit to stamp the typed out heart and the 'happy birthday' sentiment. I backed it all with that gorgeous heart shaped cover plate - also included in this incredible kit - with beautiful Passion Flower Cardstock.
My second card today features the beautiful Layering Stencil of the Month for January. This set comes with 4 different layering stencils, but you could easily get a strong result just using two of them. For this card, I challenged myself to use all four!
The inks I used, in order of their layer, are: Pink Grapefruit, Pale Tomato, Paradise, and Aquatic. My base uses Deluxe Smooth White Cardstock. You can see that some of the inking will overlap onto a previous layer, so be careful when deciding on your colors that you aren't making brown! (unless of course you're aiming for brown... then go for it!)
The sentiment and accents are from another new set, the Clear Set and Dies of the Month for January. I heat embossed with white powder onto Paradise Cardstock for the sentiment and Coral Cardstock for the accents. I die cut everything using my beloved Spellbinders Platinum 8.5 die cutting machine.
