It's always a happy mail day when my Small Die of the Month Club arrives from Spellbinders. The die set this month includes the cutest slowest animals we know... a turtle and a sloth, and they're slowwwwly going to wish you a happy birthday :)
All of the paper used is from the Concord and 9th variety pack, except the background panel which is Nautical cardstock. I reserve my C9 variety pack usually just for diecutting bits like what puts this card together. I also have a little plastic bin of all my scrap and I truly save evvvvvery scrap!
The little birthday banner is from a Concord and 9th set that was exclusive to the Summer Camp they hosted. I went through all my birthday sentiment options, and this one was the perfect size for this card.
The background panel for both cards is cut from Hero Arts Scalloped Rectangle Infinity Die (by the way - it's on SUPER SALE right now if you're reading this post close to the original posting time).
Since I had everything out already, I decided to quickly throw together a pink version of each card. Everything else is the same except the colors of the balloons and background.
