If your brain is in a fog and creating is the last thing on your mind right now... these are the cards for you. I am sharing two very quick and easy Christmas cards to help jump start your holiday card stash for the season.
I think what I love the most about these cards is that they use a couple of new Hero Arts woodblock stamps! These sentiment stamps are HUGE and help to fill out the card.
I worked on these two cards simultaneously. I first cut two pieces of Sand Cardstock and had them both handy. On one piece of cardstock, I laid the Holiday Assortment Stencil on top and sprayed with White Acrylic Spray. I then immediately picked up the stencil, flipped it over, and laid it on top of the second piece of cardstock, lightly pressed it and then quickly lifted up. This leaves me with both a positive and a negative image of the stencil and two card panels finished.
I used the beautiful woodblock sentiment Season's Greetings Calligraphy, which I heat embossed in black glitter embossing powder. I absolutely love how this sentiment becomes the star of the card. To finish it off, I just cut the Sand panel with the Postage Infinity Die and included a couple snowflakes. The snowflakes were cut from black glitter cardstock and the Snowflakes Cover Plate die.
The second card uses the beautiful woodblock stamp called Merry Christmas Calligraphy, which I embossed in Green and Gold embossing powder. This power came from an older Hero Arts kit.
I'm happy to have two lovely holiday cards in my stash, and they took less than thirty minutes. For me - that's a record!
Thanks for stopping by!
