Do you know the muffin man?

The Peeking Dies from Hero Arts are becoming a MUST HAVE staple to any collection! The newest addition certainly doesn't disappoint :)

It's hard not to scream, "Not my gumdrop buttons!" while putting this cutie together :) I die cut the Peeking Gingerbread Man from Sand Cardstock and lightly blended the edges with Cup o Joe ink. The little accents are cut from White Glitter Cardstock and I colored them directly with Copic markers to get the color I wanted.

The background is stamped with the new October Rubber Cling Stamp then cut with the Infinity Postage Dies. Many of the elements also have prisma glitter added for a fun winter shine.

Holly Jolly Snowy Christmas

I've been working through the latest October Hero Studio release, which is perfect for all your holiday card needs!

Some links are affiliates are no charge to you.  Thank you for supporting rwkrafts - it is very much appreciated!

The October Fancy Die is just beautiful. The added pinecones and lights are such a fun addition. I cut the main die plate from Shamrock Cardstock, misted lightly with Green Shimmer Metallic Spray, and then a mist of the White Acrylic Spray.

The pinecones are cut from Cup O Joe Cardstock, with the little perfect bows from Cranberry Cardstock.

The little lights are my favorite part! They were cut from white cardstock and then lightly painted with Gold Metallic Ink. The shimmer is so lovely in person. Finally, the sentiment is from the Color Layering Holly Branch set and inked in Cranberry.

Ralph Tyndall with Hero Arts - Retro Game Card

Hero Arts has a retro-special release happening today! Be sure to join the Instagram Hop for a chance to win a prize - you can find me @rwkrafts

Some links are affiliates are no charge to you.  Thank you for supporting rwkrafts - it is very much appreciated!

I absolutely HAD to create with the Retro Game Stamp and Dies. When I was younger, we had the classic grey Game Boy, then when they released different colors I reeeeeally wanted the clear one (you could see all the parts inside! so cool!) but we settled for the all black one instead. Now that I'm older, I can create one in any color I want with these fun dies!

The game console was die cut with Arctic Cardstock, with touches of Granite Cardstock for the buttons and the game. My favorite part was actually "playing" Tetris while inking up these fun block stamps! They're inked with Kiwi, Bermuda, and Azalea ink pads.

I even turned it into an interactive card! The game pulls out for the fun hidden message on the inside. For a fun touch, I added clear lacquer to the buttons.

Be sure to hop along with us to see what everyone else creates! Thanks for stopping by.

Holiday Layering Stencils

Happy Monday! I'm doing my best to get my holiday cards finished before the third week of December :) So here are a couple inspiration cards for today...

Some links are affiliates are no charge to you.  Thank you for supporting rwkrafts - it is very much appreciated!

The October Layering Stencil is absolutely incredible. The color combinations are endless, and it's a great way to use some of that beautiful Hero Wax you have on hand!

The layering stencil has 4 parts to it. For this traditional colored card, I first blended with Byzantine Green Glitz Ink. The second layer is blended with Cherry Ink. The third layer uses Olive Wax, and the fourth layer uses Gold Wax. Of course - wait until dry before moving on to the wax layers!

I just love how simple this card is to create but really makes a big impact. The sentiment is from Joyful Christmas Messages and is stamped with Cranberry Ink.

I really love the fun, bright colors on this one! The first stencil layer is blended with French Pink Glitz Ink. The second layer uses Paradise Ink, then the third layer with Berry Wax, and the fourth layer stencil uses Gold Wax.

The sentiment is also from Joyful Christmas Messages and is inked in Bermuda Ink.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great week!

C9 Guest Design - Charming Embossing Folder

Today is the final post for Concord and 9th's launch week! It's been so incredible working with these beautiful products from the C9 October release.

Some links are affiliates are no charge to you.  Thank you for supporting rwkrafts - it is very much appreciated!

Today my card features the Charming Embossing Folder. I've already used this folder with a folk art Christmas card, too... it's definitely versatile! I wanted to use the folder almost like a letterpress machine. I lightly pressed the Fig and Blueberry ink pads onto the raise side of the folder. Then I ran it through my Spellbinders Platinum 8 to emboss and press!

On the embossed panel, I die cut the banner shape from the top center. That die is from the Autumn Hues die set. The 'thanks' sentiment is from the new On Display mini stamp set, which was heat embossed in white.

The embossed panel was then popped up with foam adhesive onto Blueberry Cardstock. I just had to use those Feathered Friends dies again, so I cut two of them to fly around the card.

The second card today features the new Cottage Charm Stencil Pack. This is a 4 stencil pack that can be layered together, but each layer can also be used on its own for a simpler look. This card used the inks Lilac, Fig, Sea Glass, and Sunflower over the stencil. On my final layer of Sunflower, I also spread some Simon Hurley Solar Paste in Golden Hour on top.

The large 'thanks' die is from an older (but still very useful!) set called Big Thanks Bundle.

Thanks for stopping by all week!

C9 Guest Design - True Story

Concord and 9th's Launch Week continues, this time focusing on True Story. You will see two very different cards that I created with this beautiful bundle.

Some links are affiliates are no charge to you.  Thank you for supporting rwkrafts - it is very much appreciated!

The True Story die set is packed with little extra pieces to create the perfect book spine for your card. And the coordinating stamp set as a huge variety of phrases that can work for any occasion.

I used C9 cardstocks in Wildberry, Rainforest, and Watermelon. The inks used to stamp the little sentiments are Rainforest, Wildberry, and White Pigment Ink.

My next card is VERY DIFFERENT! I fell in love with one single die element that gave me argyle vibes. So here's where that ended up...

I picked bright neon cardstocks for this card and die cut that little diamond die over and over and over again. Taking the time to inlay these pieces was somewhat meditative, and everything fit so easily.

The 'hello' die is also included in the True Story set. Simple little flower stamps round out the sentiment portion of the card.

Thanks for stopping by!

C9 Guest Design - On Display

The Concord and 9th Launch Week continues today with the spotlight on the On Display set. This die set is PACKED with adorable images to create the perfect booktok worthy shelves :)

Honestly, that little globe is reason enough to purchase the whole On Display bundle! The shelves can be made like a pop-up that folds out, but I kept my version simple and just used foam adhesive to give the shelving unit dimension.

The background panel is embossed with the new Charming Embossing Folder. All papers used are from Concord and 9th. I keep a little bin of C9 cardstock bits, which is perfect for diecutting little pieces like the ones in this set. No cardstock scrap will go to waste with this one!

Be still my succulent loving heart :)

My Spellbinders Platinum 8 machine definitely got a workout with this card! Thanks for stopping by!

c9 Guest Design - Feathered Friends

I'm excited to share more of the Concord and 9th October release today! These cards feature my favorite set of the release, Feathered Friends.

Some links are affiliates are no charge to you.  Thank you for supporting rwkrafts - it is very much appreciated!

I really love the folk art style of this entire Feathered Friends set. The best part about it - it's a Turnabout set! The card uses C9 inks in Fig, Sea Glass, Sunflower, and Lilac. I used the matching bird die and inlaid it with C9 cardstocks to match the inks used.

The center of the card uses a square piece of vellum, which was embossed with the new Charming embossing folder. The 'thanks' die and the little hearts are also included in the Feathered Friends die set.

I also wanted to make a card that was very simple and approachable. Plus I wanted to stamp some more cute birdies in pretty ink colors :)  This card has stamped birds in the ink colors Grasshopper, Wildberry, and Briar Rose. The sentiment is mounted on dies that actually came from a gorgeous C9 set called Autumn Hues

All of the pieces are mounted on a piece of Rainforest cardstock that was embossed with the new Tea Blossom Embossing Folder. For what it's worth, if you own one single color from Concord and 9th, make it Rainforest!!

Thanks again for stopping by.

Concord and 9th October Guest Designer - Afternoon Tea

I am so excited to finally share that I'm an October Guest Designer for the incredible Concord and 9th! Today's focus is on the sweet new Afternoon Tea set.

Some links are affiliates are no charge to you.  Thank you for supporting rwkrafts - it is very much appreciated!

My first card uses several of the dies included in this large Afternoon Tea bundle. I turned the teapot into a sweet flower vase and created a lovely spring bouquet.

Of course I used a variety of beautiful cardstocks from C9. Many of the lighter pink flowers were shaded with some Grapefruit Ink

The teapot was shaded with some lovely Sea Glass ink. The dies also come with some embossing elements that don't cut through, like the flower pattern I cut into the center of the pot.

The second card also features several dies from the Afternoon Tea Bundle. I really just wanted to use these classic blue and yellow colors, so here we are!

The itty bitty teabag might just be my favorite part!

Thank you, as always, for stopping by!

The October 2024 Card Kit is FILLED with so many goodies that go way beyond the stamps and dies. You will find fun washi stickers, embossing powders, beautiful cardstocks, and even these adorable peppermint shaker pieces!

I stamped and die cut the lovely large Christmas tree from the kit and backed it on black glitter cardstock. The sentiment was stamped with the included Embossing Ink and White Embossing Powder. I used my handy Compact Cutter to die cut these smaller elements.

The background panel uses the Holiday Treats Cling Stamp (included in the kit, too!) inked in Granite. With Cranberry Cardstock I die cut the Wood Frame Infinity Die and filled the open space with Hero Arts Clear Panels. Then I just added some foam adhesive to the edges, filled the center with Peppermint bits, and adhered the frame. Shaker complete!

My second card features the October Clear Set and Dies of the Month, called Holiday Messages. And I think I managed to use every. single. sentiment...

I started by stenciling the new Circular Grid Stencil with Mist and Dusty Blue ink. I then placed all of the sentiments on top of the stenciled panel and stamped them all with my Misti in Intense Black Ink. Then I die cut every sentiment!

The sentiments are all glued underneath the main panel (this was hard to capture in the photo!)... I popped up the stenciled piece with foam tape. The main sentiment was embossed in White Powder onto Adriatic Cardstock

With the Adriatic Cardstock, I also cut snowflakes from the Snowflake Patterned Cover Plate and covered them in a healthy coat of Glitter Paste

Swag, Swag, and More Swag

Do you have enough festive swag in your life? If not, you're in the right place 😁

The new Papertrey Ink Into the Blooms: Swag Die is an ab.so.lute. must have for your holiday cards. There are so many little bits that can be combined in endless ways for a beautiful card. I started by just die cutting my heart out - all the holly, all the twigs, all the branches. The more die cuts, the more possibilities! Oh, and the beautiful big bow is a part of the die set, too!

I layered all the swag bits onto a black piece from the Reflections: September Die to help it all pop. The background panel was die cut from a lovely deep red cardstock using the Postage Stamp Frame Post Card Die. All it needed was a very small and simple sentiment, which was heat embossed using the 'Merry Christmas' sentiment from All Around Christmas.

Thanks for joining me all week for my Papertrey Ink Guest Designer Cards! I'm so happy to have had the opportunity to work with these gorgeous stamps and dies!

Dear Santa... Christmas Card

I'm continuing my Papertrey Ink guest design cards with the gorgeous September release! Today's card is made just for Santa...

When I unwrapped the entire release, this North Pole Mail stamp set is the one that I was immediately drawn to. I love the vintage vibe and the endless mix and match possibilities! First I die cut two peachy pink cardstock panels from the coordinating Candy Cane Frame Post Card Die. On the center panel, I heat embossed in gold the "kindly deliver to Santa" sentiment, and then stamped the written note in black.

The belt might just be my favorite part of the stamp set! I stamped in black ink and then heat embossed the buckle in gold. I also added the mini vintage Santa stamp and the postage image.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you can also tell Santa you've been good this year ;)
