Valentine's Day cards are typically your classic pink/red/white color combo. Who says they can't be bold black with a touch of rainbow?!
I started by diecutting watercolor cardstock with the Love You So Much plate. I then watercolored in somewhat rainbow order using my Hero Arts Brights Liquid Watercolors. Colors used were: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Indigo, and Purple. I simply added a single drop of each color to my glass mat and painted with my water brush. Once dried, I did a second layer painted on top to make the colors more vibrant.
I created a card base with Pitch Black cardstock. The watercolored die was carefully glued on top... just a little glue will go a long way! I painted the hearts with Gold Metallic paint and glued those on as well. To finish it off, I sprayed the entire card with Iridescent Shimmer Mist.
This was such a QUICK card to put together. The main time spent was on drying the cardstock. I love that this die plate makes such a full card with little effort.
