Have you seen the new June ocean themed My Monthly Hero kit from Hero Arts?! I purchased the Premium Kit, the Sea Creatures Fancy Dies, and the Lighthouse Window Fancy Die. I haven't pulled out the sea creatures yet, but here are 4 cards I created using the kit and Hero Arts inks.
These two cards use the main stamps and dies in the kit, along with the Lighthouse Window add on. Hero Arts ink used are: Pool, Aquatic, Navy, Soft Sky, Dusty Blue, Lemon Yellow, and Butter Bar. The silhouettes were stamped with Hero Arts Charcoal ink.
The bottom of the beach scene is heat embossed using Hero Arts Sand embossing powder. If you don't own this powder yet... why not!?
This card is very clean and simple, and came together quickly. I die cut the Lighthouse Window die once from black cardstock and again on white. I pieced together the lighthouse and boardwalk to fit inside the negative of the die. The images were colored quickly with Copic Markers, and the sentiment was heat embossed with Hero Arts Gold embossing powder.
This card is much different than the others! I will make another one with the palm tree window in black cardstock, but at the time I reeeeeeally wanted to water color it! The background is stamped with the following Hero Arts inks: Tangerine, Raspberry Jam, Lemon Yellow, and Butter Bar. The sky is ink blended with Distress Ink in Squeezed Lemonade and Picked Raspberry. The window die was colored with Distress Watercolor Pencils.
