It's clear to see that the Halloween creations are taking over this week! I'm over at the Topflight Stamps Blog today sharing this super cute card using stamps by Polkadoodles.
I was super inspired by the latest Halloween color combo that's been floating around the craft community... pale pink and pale orange. So adorable! I just had to color this sweet trick-or-treater in those colors.
Please tell me I'm not the only one with a secret squirrel obsession...?! I think they're the cutest things and could definitely watch them all day long. I'm up on the Topflight Stamps blog today sharing my squirrel addiction :) When I saw theNuts About Youstamp from Heffy Doodle, I knew I had to have it.
I stamped every image, most of them twice, and spent the afternoon coloring. I used my Brother Scan n Cut to cut the images, and all are colored with Copic markers.
Are you ready for spooky season? I love creating for Halloween! The card I'm sharing today uses some cute cats that I turned into trick or treaters. There's also a short process video, so be sure to watch!
The stamp is Burglar Cats by Crafty Individuals. Since it is an unmounted rubber stamp, I use my MISTI platform and Tombow Removable Adhesive to ink and stamp the image. Since I'll be using Lavinia Mists as a watercolor, I stamped onto Strathmore Mixed Media paper.
I pulled out paper from my scrapbook stash and found some fun Halloween oranges to border around the cats. This card came together really quickly and I quite like these mischievous little kitties!
Happy September! I think it's fair to say that once September rolls around it is officially Spooky Season. Today I'm on the Topflight Stamps blog sharing a too-cute-to-spook Halloween card.
I received the cutest Halloween stamp set from Topflight Stamps... I couldn't decide which image to focus on since I loved them all so much! With the Crafty Individuals "Halloween 1" stamp set, this card came to be.
By using the Peekaboo Backdrop die from Lawn Fawn, I was able to incorporate a bunch of little mini-scenes and incorporate almost all of the adorable stamps from the set. Each stamp was colored with Copic markers, fussy cut, and added to their little window scene. I also lightly shaded a couple of the panels with Distress Ink "Carved Pumpkin".
Here are the Copics used to create the card.
Thanks for stopping in! This was a quick one today :)
