MMMC October Mood Board

The most beautiful month of the year is here! Happy October everyone! This post is very bittersweet for me. This is my last project as a designer on the Mixed Media Monthly Challenge team. It's been so much fun to watch the challenge grow ever since Donna and I created it 29 months ago!  Without further ado, let's get to the spooky Halloween October Project...

This month we are sponsored by Stampotique Originals, who specialize in unique quirky rubber stamps. I just adore Stampotique!

Here's the mood board for the challenge this month! Perfect for all things Halloween.

I had fun putting together this little coffin of creepy people. I painted the base of the coffin with matte paint from Paper Artsy. The stamps are colored in with Faber Castell Design Memory Craft Aquarelle watercolor pencils. I kept the coffin pretty simple; just added some black spider webs, a skull, and some spiders I coated in glitter.

I covered the 'Boo' chipboard in Design Memory Craft Texture Luxe paste in silver and gold. I also added some Texture Luxe to the little angel so help her shine.

Thanks for stopping in and have a beautiful October!

  1. This is sooooo freaking cool, Rachel!! I'm not a Halloween fan (don't hate me), but I love what you did with the coffin, the "boo", and your stamps. It's creepy, but cool. I love it. ♥
