MMMC - Rustic

Hello September! The best month of the year (my birthday month)!!! This month the Mixed Media Monthly Challenge theme is RUSTIC! And what better sponsor than the gorgeously rustic Canvas Corp Brand?! They were SO generous to the MMMC team, providing us with all sorts of fantastic goodies to play with. They'll also be giving one of our lucky entrants a $25 gift certificate... WOOHOO!

My box of Canvas Corp materials was filled with this vintage nautical scrapbook and mixed media paper. I was in nautical heaven for sure. I fussy cut the lobster (cuz they're my faves!) from one of the kraft scrapbook papers, colored him with Red Cherry Gelatos, and a generous coat of Glass Bead Glitter Gel. I love him.

I cut the tag from the Canvas Corp mixed media paper which had some gorgeous old-world-map images on it. The texture of the mixed media paper is so smooth, it made it easy to blend my Gelatos on top.

I wrapped the bottom of the tag with some canvas and burlap trimming that Canvas Corp provided us. I also pulled some individual burlap frays to add to my seashell from Myrtle Beach.
