Unity Stamp Co Coloring Book

Unity Stamp Company is releasing something AMAZING today! Of course there are some great new stamp sets releasing, but there is also a brand new Unity Coloring Book! You can now have some of Unity's favorite stamps in a LARGE format to color however you'd like! I plan on putting one of the pages I colored in a frame for my new craft room.

Isn't this fantastic?! The images are bound and printed on 80lb cardstock which is perfect for a variety of coloring mediums. I decided to color both of my pages with Prismacolor Pencils that I blended with Gamsol oil. The one above will be put in a frame for sure.

Another gorgeous image from the coloring book. I spent the night watching bad TV and coloring this stamp... it was so relaxing and rewarding to take the time to just COLOR.

Don't forget to shop the SALES throughout the weekend! As usual, all new releases are on sale, too :) Visit Unity Stamp Co and get shoppin!

We have TWO amazing Unity filled prize packages to giveaway. Leave a comment on EACH blog in the hop (including the Unity blog) for your chance to win. The winners will be announced Monday night on the Unity blog.

Jenn's 10th Blogiversary Celebration!

Happy 10th Blogiversary to my great friend, Jenn Shurkus!! What a huge milestone for her blog, Creative Chick! I'm super proud of you, Jenn, and everything you've accomplished (and will accomplish) in our little creative world! MUAH!

I'm also super honored that she asked me to help her celebrate this big 10th bloggy birthday. I spent an entire WEEK (seriously) deciding on the best project of hers for me to CASE (aka be inspired by aka copy). But I think I picked a good one...

I love Jenn's canvases that she creates with the funky Stampotique stamps and I always oogle them when I'm at her loft. This project of hers is from January 2011 and you can find the original post here.

I was inspired by the rich red colors, the off center heart, the textures, and of course the little character inside the heart. Here's what I created...

I really like how she turned out! I used the "Love Yourself" stamp by Unity Stamp Co and she's colored with a variety of media: acrylic paints, Gelatos, PITT Pens, and Stickles.

The texture in my heart was a very happy accident. I used crackle paste, however it just NEVER CRACKLED! So I got angry and I scorched the sucker with my heat tool... well that lead to the crackle paste bubbling up and I was left with this awesome crater like feel. I really like it!

I used a variety of Dina Wakley acrylic paints (specific supplies listed below) to paint the background. I used The Crafter's Workshop stencil "Impressions" for all the patterns. And finally, I added the quote from Ranger's Small Talk stickers.

Darling,
you are
a work
of
art

Now for even more fun! You can participate in the celebration by CASEing one of her cards from her 10 years of crafting and linking it on her blog. You will have the chance to win fabulous prizes from all these sponsors!! You have until August 4th to submit your entries and the winners will be announced on Jenn's blog August 7th! Have fun!

Unity Hop Thursday!

Happy Unity Thursday! There are some new SALES happening this weekend that you need to check out, too ;)

I played with the fun summery ice cream stamps from the new July Kit of the Month. I colored the ice cream with Copic markers and fussy cut it. I paired the image with a lot of polka dots from embossing the card base, adding some polka dot vellum, and making one big polka dot out of the die cut sentiment.

Click the photos to be taken directly to that sale!

Happy Hopping!
