Easter Hop Day 4 - Basket

Hello and welcome to Day 4 of our new 5 for 5 Easter Blog Event!  Each day our designers will post an Easter project based on that day’s theme. Today’s theme is BASKET! Some of us are even offering prizes, so be sure to leave comments on each of links below for details on how to win!

I was stumped about what to create for this 'basket' theme. Then I finally told myself that I'll just have to make an ACTUAL basket! I was worried for the time consuming task ahead of me.... but these adorable mini baskets? 5 minutes tops! I was so excited I made 3! AND I MADE A VIDEO!

I got the original idea for the baskets from Crafting Clare's Paper Moments, which I found through Pinterest. I cut out a few steps to make it easier, and also changed the design a bit... again for quick and ease!

The cardstock I used is all from the same DCWV stack called "Melon Twist"... its been a favorite of mine for a while. It's so perfect for spring and summer occasions!

The supply list for this project is short...
5" x 4" cardstock plus 1/2" x 4" strip
Score board
Scissors
Adhesive (any kind)
Optional - Distress Ink

I give all the steps in my YouTube video here! Thanks for watching and subscribing and thumbs-upping :)

I may have filled my little basket with lemon Girl Scout Cookies.... but jelly beans and peeps are also an option ;)

Time for Prizes!!!! I'm doing something a little different for this giveaway. You have up to 5 chances to enter for each blog post! The winner will be chosen on March 23rd so you'll have plenty of time to leave comments throughout the week!

As you can see, I got a little shop-happy at Target!! I'm giving away this goodie pack shown above. AND if you've ever won before you KNOW that I will throw in a whole lot more stuff. But this is what I can promise ;) Easter mini gel pens, pretty normal pens, Easter chevron page flags, pretty jeweled feathers, watercolored gift tags, fun erasers, and mint sticky notes. PLUS whatever else I decide to throw in.
