The 'happy birthday' speech bubble is embossed in a very shimmery silver powder (ZING! Embossing powder) which made it super difficult to photograph, so bare with me! Every piece of paper on this card is from DCWV. I used a note card from the Christmas and Winter cards pack, Printed Corrugate, Shimmer Cardstock, and Double Sided Jewel Cardstock. Each of these are available in 6x6 pads at JoAnn's.
Now this card also has a LOT of fun Lawn Fawn goodness. The stamps are from Lawn Fawn "Yeti Set Go", "Chit Chat", and "Critters Ever After". Like his birthday hat? I had to get a little creative with that one. Take a look....
Anything on that stamp set look like a birthday hat?! :) I stamped and colored just the tops of the castle, and voila! Yeti Birthday Hat success!! The dies are Lawn Fawn "Stitched Journaling Card" and "Stitched Hillside Border". I'm also entering this wintery birthday card to the current Winter Lawnscaping Challenge.
Now here is Matt's birthday gift! The talented Melanie Douthit worked with me since November to create this AMAZING painting of our fur babies (included our angel guinea pigs). It's an understatement to say that he loved it :) It was getting difficult for me to keep this a secret any longer!
