March Stack-a-holic Sketch Challenge

There is one big bit of news to say first: Tomorrow (March 5) DCWV will be on QVC at 3pm EST!! Our amazing Erin will be co-hosting the show and sharing some of our team's fabulous projects live on air! The design team has been waiting a long long time for this exciting day to arrive! The beginning of every month brings a new DCWV Stack-a-holic Challenge! We have a great scrapbook page sketch AND a card sketch to get the creative juices flowing.

I just got back from a trip to Phoenix (where all the family lives) where we spent a gorgeous day at the zoo. One of the new stacks, Alpha Zoo, was obviously a perfect fit for these photos.
I'm also entering this layout in the Paper Issues "Raining Cats and Dogs" linky!

Here I am in front of the giraffes with my mom and dad :) The stack has a lot of great cut apart graphics to add to your layouts. Since my whole family went (mom, dad, brother) I used the little fill-in-the-blank cut out to include the family name: "Today I went to the zoo and saw a... flock of wild Westendorfs" ;)

For the card sketch I used another new DCWV stack, "Limoncello".

This card came together in 15 minutes. Such an easy layout!
