This week has also been a pretty awesome happy mail week for me. Two of my newest goodies are from Avery Elle sets "Handwritten Notes" and "Petals and Stems". I loved them so much for the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger that I created four cards. Each card is entered to the Trigger this week :)
I think I was channeling my inner Cristina for this one ;) The smaller flowers in the set make a great simple border around the sentiment. The card is inspired by the colors and the floral print in the photo.
With this card I was really just playing with the stamps and combining chalk inks and hero arts inks to see how it looked. Inspiration from the flowers and colors in the photo :)
For this card, I really wanted to mimic the bed frame. So I created an outer frame throughout the card, with punched of pinks, yellows, and oranges. I added some Crystal Stickles in the middle of the flowers.
Here is a pretty simple card, with inspiration again from the colors and flowers in the photo. The bottom petals are popped up with foam adhesive, and the center of the flowers have Crystal stickles.
Have a fun and wonderful weekend. Google Reader will be leaving soon, so be sure to follow rwkrafts through Bloglovin, Feedly, Network Blogs... whatever it is you prefer! Thanks :)

ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, thanks for visiting me and making me laugh! Like I said, it was the feathered hair and cuts of the dresses that make the 1997 wedding version of the PDC combo not work, they totally work with inspiration photos! :)
I'm in love with these cards...the soft colors, partially handwritten sentiments, subtle dimension, they're perfect! That last card, with the bottom petals popped up...gorgeous!!!
