It's National Scrapbook Day! So it is only fitting that I share a layout today. Here are some photos from a day trip in February to Tucson. We visited San Xavier, and I saw it without construction for the first time ever! It's so beautiful, and it really does just glow in the middle of the desert.
I wanted the paper colors and patterns to feel like their belonged in Tucson. These papers from DCWV "My Sunshine" stack matched up so well that it's the only stack I used.
The journaling on the bottom uses a trimmed Project Life card and a note pad from Smash (k&co) travel collection.
The title letters were cut from Papertrey Ink "Headline Alphabet" letter dies on grey Bazzill cardstock. The cute little banner was in the Dear Lizzy "Neapolitan" stack.
It was a sun-filled day in Tucson and I loved spending the day there with my mom and dad :)
Get some scrapping done today... and happy Derby Day!
