Happy 7th Birthday, Meeko!!

Today is a very exciting day in our family! Our first fur baby, Meeko, is turning 7 years old today. This officially makes him a "senior" in dog years, and we've enjoyed teasing him about all his grey hairs and old man grumpy attitude :)

(There's a Paper Smooches Sparks entry at the bottom!)

Warning: Meeko photo heavy post happening in 3... 2... 1...

Ok moving on to my entry for the latest Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge...

I made a pretty rainbow background by dabbing Distress Inks onto my craft mat, spraying with water, and then placing my paper over the inks.

a ROY-G-BV of distress inks

The rainbow background ended up looking so pretty I didn't want to cover it up. The hollow sentiment was perfect (Paper Smooches "Chit Chat") to show off both the stamps and the background.

Have a great weekend :)

Our cat lays back like that (like a little sea otter in the water), I hear it means they are so comfortable around you and they know they are loved!

  7. I rescue homeless street animals so this post made my heart warm to see this boy loved so much. I see too much of the other side of their life that this brought tears to my eyes.

Oh and your project was great too!
