7 Days of Easter Projects #3

AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY AMAZING MOM!!! So I have one Easter card to share and one special birthday card :)

Welcome to Day 3 of the 7 Days of Easter Projects! The links to all participants are located at the bottom of this post... please leave comments if you have some time to show these ladies some love ;)
Happy crafting!!

Today my amazing mother turns 60! I know she won't mind that I'm sharing her age. I hope she has a very special day and celebrates accordingly :) I will also be entering this card in the Moxie Fab "Emphasize the Negative" challenge.

I was super inspired by this card by Jess for PTI that pretty much exploded all over Pinterest. I die cut the kraft paper with my Silhouette to make the '60'. I put pattern paper from Cosmo Cricket "Clementine" under the die cut. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink stamped with Hero Arts "Soft Pool" ink. I faux stitched around the edges to finish it off.

Now for my Easter card! I'm so excited to share this one, I think it's pretty 'me'

I got to play with my new Papertrey Ink alpha dies and stamps, the bunny stamp, my new inks! Swoon. It's been a fun week with a lot of new toys for me to enjoy :)

materials: Cosmo Cricket "Clementine" pad, Papertrey Ink "Polka Dot Parade #1", Papertrey Ink "Headline Alphabet Stamp", Papertrey Ink "Headline Alphabet Die", Hero Arts inks in "Tide Pool", "Orange Soda", "Butter Bar", "Pale Tomato", and some random rub-on

Be sure to check out the other projects from this amazing line up!
