Play Date Cafe with The Twinery

You know you love baker's twine. And you need it in every color. Not just every color but every shade of that color. And you still want more.

So how about you try to win the prize this week at the Play Date Cafe... a gift certificate from The Twinery!

Our beautiful colors are Stone, Denim, and Buttercup

I took a huge leap outside of my comfort zone and made a project that would just be dripping in twine!

I had this old jar in the cabinet (originally from Christmas Tree Shoppe) that needed some love. I wrapped the twine around the lip of the jar and created little twine pom poms.

To make the twine pom poms, you simply wrap a bundle of twine around the tongs of a fork. Then you tie a knot around that bundle. Pull the bunch off of the fork and cut all the loops with scissors. Give it a good fluff and you're finished.

The label was created using Papertrey Ink stamps "A Little Birdie Told Me" and "Winter Hills" sets. Inks are from Memento in "Teal Zeal" and "Dandelion", outlined with Distress Ink in grey. I adhered the label to the jar using a spray adhesive and holding it down for too long until it was totally set. Pom poms were also added with spray adhesive.

Go play at the Play Date Cafe! Have fun with your twines! All twine in this project is from the Twinery using the colors in 'Stone', 'Denim', and 'Buttercup'.
