You knock my socks off so hard...

I'm doing my best to actually craft after work. It's kept me sane so far! Just got three more work days left...

This black and yellow card was made for the one layer Lawnscaping challenge. It was also made as a random 'love ya' note to the hubs.

I know I know. The twine doesn't quite make it 'one layer'. But the DT examples did it too, I swear. And one layer doesn't mean one dimensional ;)

Donna inspired me to bust out my Prismacolors and mineral oil to color the socks. Stamps are Lawn Fawn 'my silly valentine', StazOn black ink, we r memory keepers twine, target and k & company washi tape.

Not a bad Monday morning pick me up, huh?

  8. The DT totally did (but not me, hee hee.) While I'm a 1-layer purist, this is still one of my favorite cards of the week. And if the gorgeous card didn't sell me, the joke inside totally did - love it! Thanks for playing along with lawnscaping!
