Gettin Misty Wit It

nanana na na nana gettin misty wit it uh nanana

Now that you have a new song stuck in your head (thanks 90's!) let's look at my Christmas tags using Lawn Fawn stamps for the Lawnscaping Challenge to make a tag, and the CAS-ual Fridays challenge to use something 'misty'!

I made two...

I stamped, colored with pencils, and cut these Lawn Fawn "Cozy Christmas" stockings in the hue of my favorite color combo obsession, and created a little banner with the sentiment. I distressed the white tag with 'broken glass' ink, then used my Mini Mister to spray water on it. It wasn't splotchy enough for me, so I used my new Smooch Spritz "sea kiss" to mist more color. (I saw Donna using this product and I just had to get some of my own!)

For the Christmas tree tag, I textured embossed with Snowflakes and lightly distressed with 'broken glass' ink, I also sprayed Smooch Spirtz 'sea kiss'. I stamped, colored with pencils, and cut the tree from Lawn Fawn's "Critters in the Forest" and the sentiment and lights are from "Cozy Christmas". I added some icicle stickles to the top of the tree and randomly on the snowflakes. The lights also have Glossy Accents on them for dimension.

uh uh on your mark ready set let's go
dance floor pro I know you know
I go psycho when my new joint hit
just can't sit
gotta get jiggy with it
oooh that's it

  3. Love your backgrounds on both of these!! They are such cute tags! Distress inks, stains, etc.. are so much fun. Glad you got some Smooch - it's totally addictive and I don't have it in these colors, so I'm going to have to add them to my never ending list because they look great!!
