We were in a silly mood, not often can we be found stamping at the same desk together! It was so fun, and I love what we both made :)
The challenge was to create a gift tag for an upcoming holiday, and you have 90 minutes to do it!
I used my favorite Hero Arts stamp, this lovely peacock. He's doing his best to sell all the evil turkeys he can for Thanksgiving. He wants to always be the prettiest bird on the block :) I distressed the edges lightly with a sky blue ink and a light purple ink. The little 'turkeys this way' sign was just hand drawn with silver and gold stickles added. I colored the peacock with watercolor pencils. Seriously, I'm obsessed with those things.
And my husband got busy playing along as well....
I had a lot of fun stamping with Matty for the big craft day :) Are you getting together with friends and family to craft your heart art?

wow, can't believe you managed to get your hubby to play along! the only crafty thing my hubby did was help make the batches of wedding cards for our wedding, but he would certainly love those monkey stamps! you both did a fantastic job for world card day!
ReplyDeletethank you ladies so much! It was a lot of fun sharing my hobby with him :)... I'm not sure how many times in the future this will happen, though!
